Science Fair Ending

Kia Ora,  in Te Ngahere we have being doing  Science Fair this science fair had many ranges of project about all different topics. We learned about the scientific method that included, a question, aim, research, hypothesis, variables, material, doing the experiment, collecting data and presenting our findings. I learned that without one of these very important steps in the scientific process you wouldn't be able to proceed with the project at all. I also learned  about what an independent variable is, a dependant variable and a control variable. A independent variable is, thing we are going to be changing. A dependant variable is something we mesure. A controlled variable is things we do not change. The reason that doing the scientific method is important is because it guides you through your project and it helps to collect more accurate data. During our project I individually struggled with understanding how to display the data but I was lucky enough to be working with someone that was good in that area of work. I think that the easiest part of this project was the testing part because we were physically seeing the project happen and that helped us with being able to understand more about our project. Our project was trying to get kids to eat healthier options so that they can get the nutrients they need.  With this project a lot of this could have given us a different result because there was a lot of things changing and a lot of different things that could have been different because of the variables being changed so it is important to change one variable so that your are able to check what made your project worse of better. Here is a D.L.O I created relating to my project. Have you ever done a science project before?
