1,2,3 Blast Off Writing

This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to write narrative writing. If you don’t know how to do narrative writing some easy tips I got taught was to 1. Plan out what your story will be about 2. Write it down in paragraphs 3. Add more detailed words. I have been writing more detail words in my writing because its was really interesting that our stories would be made into actual movies. What I did well is tried my best to finish it but it isn't yet. What I could do better is read it out loud.

Magnificent Maths

This week in Te Ngahere we did multiplication with tidy numbers. If you are wondering what that is it is changing a number to a tidy number and multiplying it but the single digit. I found this hard at first because I didn’t really understand how the numbers would work together. Then I got some help from my friend and teachers and I got a understanding of how to finish this type of work. I feel like I did a good enough job on this type of work. What I did well is I tried to get the answers right. What I could do better is think before getting bored and not doing any work. What do you think about multiplication with tidy numbers?

Our Wonderful Smooth Moves

For the past few weeks we have been learning Tik Tok dances. Anyah and Mihipeka are the names of the girls that helped us do our Tik Tok dances. Our dances are appropriate ,fun and very interesting. I liked doing our dances because we got to move and do other active things. We did our two dances in the Whare for our school assembly. I was very shy because we had to do the dance in front of a lot of people. What I did well was used my ears and did my best. What I could do better is co-operate more. Here is a video that one of our teachers recorded. Would you try doing dances in front of your whole school?
