SPCA

For this project we had to research on our charity. We had to find out what made our charity the charity. We had to to think about what our charity did. I pick the SPCA the SPCA is where animals go when they have no where to go. The SPCA gives the animals a place to feel safe and at home. The SPCA is where you should take dogs and other animals if you find them around give the animals the same amount of respect you would give to a human being. The New Zealand SPCA charity donates over 70 items of animal food to the SPCA including animal bed and meany more things. This charity does take donations so it will be very kind of you to donate to donate go to https://www.spca.nz/donate/donate-now .

  1. Kia Ora Jorjah,

I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster of the Summer Learning Journey. It’s awesome to see that you have been blogging over the holiday break! I can’t wait to read more of your blog posts soon.

Well done for creating an informative slides about the SPCA +. I didn’t realise that most countries have SPCAs, to help injured and abandoned animals. Have you checked out the New Zealand SPCA’s website? You can find lots of information about what our SPCA does for animals all over our country. Do you think you could edit your post to include some information about the New Zealand SPCA charity? Comment below when you have so I can check it out and award you full points for this activity.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani

  2. Kia ora Jorjah! Olive from the Summer Learning Journey here! How are you doing?

What a cool charity to pick! The SPCA does incredible work for animals all around New Zealand. If you go on the website you'll see you can adopt and foster animals. They have chickens up for adoption called Mike and Ryan Gosling! There is also volunteer pages where there are options for volunteering at different SPCA centres. You could check out there if you wanted to help out further?

I notice you haven't been as active recently - maybe you're on holiday? Bad wifi connection? The dog ate your computer? Whatever the reason, my team and I would love to see more of your work! Don't give up, there are still two weeks of the program to go!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive
